Quadbiking: Quad biking with Desert Explorers is the best way to experience the pristine beauty of the Namib Desert and its magnificent dunes. No prior experience is needed and you will never be too old to do a guided Quad bike excursion. On our tours we do multi-guiding with slow and fast groups in the same tour, catering for both the adrenaline seeker and the sightseer. Skydiving: Once in the plane you will enjoy a 35 minute scenic flight over the area reaching 10,000 feet. After jumping, a 30 - 35 seconds free-fall follows before the parachute opens. After the parachute opens, another 5 - 8 minutes are enjoyed under the chute.Soft gentle landings - you are dealing with professionals, nothing to worry about ! Dune Boarding: Lie down boarding: Catch your breath and gasp at the slope as you lie face down, dangling over the edge of the slip face, before being pushed off the edge and sent on your way down the curving rolling, sandy slopes. Stand Up Boarding: Highly recommended for snowboarders, surfers and even the inexperienced boarder. Fishing: Shore Fishing covers the area from Sandwich Harbour, south of Walvis Bay up to Terrace Bay in the Skeleton Coast Park. Ski boat fishing is also conducted by professional skippers and the same species can be caught as with beach fishing. Dolphin Cruise: We depart from Swakopmund, cruising down to Pelican Point passing the Guano Island, the Russian Ships making our way to the small seal colony at Pelican Point.From here we turn around and head back to Swakopmund for a light lunch with champagne and cool drinks. Paragliding: Experience free flight from one of the World's safest training sites, our own Namib dunes near Long Beach! Scenic Flights: We have different scenic flight packages that suit everyone’s taste and budget, from Sossusvlei in the south to the Skeleton Coast in the north. Horse Riding: Experience the rugged scenery of Swakopmund, ride up the dry Swakopmund riverbed over to the Moonlandscape.
